Carbonara

This recipe is a single serving. Obviously you'll never make a single serving, but you just scale all the ingredients up by the number of people you are making it for.

Ingredients

  • 100g Pasta1)
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 50g Pecorino Romano2)
  • 50g Guanciale
1)
La Molisana is my preferred dried pasta as it produces a high starch content pasta water.
2)
This is a Roman dish and only really works with Pecorino Romano cheese.
