Ravioli Milanese
This is a recreation of the sauce used in the Ravioli Milanese from Fasta Pasta. It deviates pretty strongly from a traditional bolognese. This recipe uses lean beef mince, because of the fat in the cream and cheese. The dish from Fasta Pasta also uses very little sauce since the pasta itself contains beef/veal so in terms of service size, this makes about 8 servings.
Ingredients
- 500g Beef Mince
- 700ml Passata
- 50g Mozzarella
- 100ml Cream
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Onion
Method
Mise en place
- Dice Onion
- Crush or mince Garlic
Cook
- Preheat saucepan on medium-low
- Add oil and cook onions until softened and translucent
